1. Introduction
My Charity Management (MYCM) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethical behaviour, integrity, and professionalism in all aspects of its operations. This Code of Conduct applies to all individuals associated with MYCM, including employees, contractors, partners, volunteers, and any individuals representing the organisation in any capacity.
2. Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to establish a framework of ethical and behavioural expectations that guide all our professional relationships and activities. It ensures that our conduct aligns with the values and mission of MYCM and reflects our commitment to the public, the charities we serve, and our stakeholders.
3. Scope
This Code applies to all persons engaged with MYCM, including but not limited to:
Employees and directors
Consultants and contractors
Volunteers
Partner organisations
Third-party service providers
Clients and beneficiaries, where applicable
4. Core Principles
All individuals associated with MYCM are expected to uphold the following principles:
a. Integrity and Honesty
We act with honesty, transparency, and fairness in all dealings. We do not tolerate fraud, dishonesty, or unethical conduct.
b. Respect and Inclusion
We treat all individuals with dignity, fairness, and respect. Discrimination, harassment, or abuse of any kind is strictly prohibited.
c. Accountability
We take responsibility for our actions and decisions, and we are accountable to those we serve and work with.
d. Compliance
We comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, including data protection, anti-money laundering, and safeguarding standards.
e. Confidentiality
We maintain the confidentiality of personal, organisational, and client data and do not misuse any privileged information for personal or professional gain.
f. Conflict of Interest
We declare and appropriately manage any actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest.
5. Professional Conduct
a. Service Delivery
We provide services competently, diligently, and promptly. We strive for excellence and continual improvement.
b. Representation
No individual may misrepresent MYCM or act in a way that damages the reputation of the organisation.
c. Use of Resources
We use MYCM resources responsibly and only for legitimate organisational purposes.
6. Reporting Misconduct
Any breach of this Code of Conduct should be reported promptly to the management team or through our official contact channels:

Reports will be handled confidentially and by our Whistleblowing and Complaints Policies.
7. Consequences of Breach
Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment, service agreement, or partnership. In serious cases, legal action may also be taken.
8. Review and Updates
This policy is reviewed annually or as needed to reflect changes in regulations, organisational structure, or industry best practices.
